HOMICIDE IN THE DETENTION CENTER
One of the Detention Center’s room there were imprisoned
seven suspected offenders. With a unknown reason they quarrelled and killed
one of them at the end. The name of the death one is B. Batdorj. He was checked
before according to the 181 of the Code of Criminal procedure or a rough case
at the Bayanzurkh District Police Department, the second office of the State
Investigating Authorities.
When the Operational Group of the Capital Police having reached to the case’s place, the sufferer’s body was fully with bruise wounds in every where, head, chest, back, neck and squashed. The Operational Group brought the corpse to the medical jurisprudent to hold a post-mortem on the victim.
The Bayanzurkh District Police officials considered that this case was probably committed with other six offenders together and began to be investigated.
The offenders were proved that they were drunk that day. They said to the investigator “they asked the supervisor of the Detention Center to buy a vodka for them and gave him 500 MNT /tugriks/ for his assist”. Even it was got a hearsay that they always used to give the supervisor 500 MNT each time when they received food from the outside door”.
Before, the Center was considered when it was under the authority of the General Police Department that its offenders used to pressurize each other, the supervisors were corrupted when offenders met their people and also they used to free offenders into the “sunshining” misusing their authority. This case has not been finished yet even though the Center was transferred into an authority of the General Authority of Implementing Court Decisions. Not only human rights are violated here but also people’s life is suffered. Thus, it is not guaranteed that the life of people can be safe though in the Detention Center. Also that day, a patient-prisoner, who was treated in the Hospital of the Zaisan Mountain, died because of a desease. He was transferred from the Zuunkharaa’s prison. The Police has been investigating for a reason of his death.
While this paper was transferred into the publication, one more news, that any offender had died, was informed.
